Phil Jackson To Take Questions At University of ND

Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson will take questions as part of an informal "community conversation" set up by the University of North Dakota.

Jackson, who is a UND alumnus, is returning to the Grand Forks campus later this month to accept an honorary doctoral degree.

The question-and-answer event will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 25 at the universitys Chester Fritz Auditorium. It is part of the universitys "Great Conversations" series.

Jackson grew up in Williston. He graduated from UND in 1967 with degrees in psychology, philosophy and religion.
